Menn has served the TABC for over 15 years. He began his career in 1996 as an Agent in the Houston District, and also served in the Corpus Christi and Galveston offices. He accepted a Sergeant position in Houston in 2004 where he served four years before being promoted to Lieutenant in the Corpus Christi office. He then laterally transferred to Victoria, where he has served the last three years. Menn holds an Associate’s in Science Degree in Theater, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. He also holds TCLEOSE certifications as a Basic Instructor, Firearms Instructor, and Master Peace Officer, and holds Spanish Language proficiency certification with the agency.

TABC Administrator Alan Steen said, “All of our recently promoted employees are very impressive in their own right and a very positive statement to the hiring, and, the mentoring we have been doing as an agency. Whenever we have a supervisor position opening, it brings the talented and the creative eTABC is the state agency that regulates all phases of the alcoholic beverage industry in Texas. The duties of the commission include regulating sales, taxation, importation, manufacturing, transporting and advertising of alcoholic beverages.
Mark Menn is the son of Bob and Sharon Menn of Kenedy.
