Description:
The Skidmore-Tynan basketball camps for incoming grades 3-9 will be held on July 23-26 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Skidmore-Tynan ISD gymnasium.
Instruction in the fundamentals such as passing, dribbling and shooting, as well as concentration on team concepts, such as full court transition, half court offense, half court defense and games.
The coaches emphasize hard work and fun in a positive environment with a lot of individual attention.
The camp will include T-shirts, daily awards, team play, hot-shot contest, a free throw contest and a Shooting League contest.
Cost of the camp is $35. Checks can be made out to S-T Athletics. An enrollment form also needs to be completed. Contact coach Joseph Grimes III at the Athletic Department for that information. Enrollment and fees can be made on the first day of the camp.
