The Hondo Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 48th Annual Wild Game Festival on October 27^th starting at 12 noon at the City Park, located next to the Medina County Fairgrounds on FM 462.

This outdoor event includes the 3rd Annual IBCA Bar-B-Que and Wild Game Cook-Off- a chance to earn $5,000 in cash prizes and trophies.

If you’re not competing, you can be a voluntary taste-tester, or explore the children's play area, the catapult, and shop at booths while enjoying live musical entertainment provided by local talents. This is an event for the entire family - a place where people can relax, visit and have a good time living the simple life. Join us!

The event includes the Horseshoe Tournament, Cow Patty Bingo, Wild Game Dinner, and Gun Raffle. Tickets for the Wild Game Dinner and Gun Raffle are on sale now for just $7 at the Chamber office.
