The Swinney Switch Volunteer Fire Department will hold their annual fish fry on Friday, Feb. 15. Plates of fish, fries, slaw, beans, tea and dessert will be sold for $7.50 each and served from 5 to 7 p.m.. There will also be a bake sale.
Proceeds will go toward equipping the department’s new fire truck with emergency lighting, radios and fire-fighting tools.
The SSVFD and friends will also be sponsoring a rabies clinic in March and a craft bazaar/plant sale in April. Details to be announced later.
