Batteries Plus

Listening to the owners of Batteries Plus, located at 503 Turner McCall Blvd., talk about the batteries and services they offer is sort of like listening to Bubba Gump talk about shrimp — they have it all and and probably fix it all.

The only store of its kind in Northwest Georgia, co-owner Resinald Walraven said customers regularly show up from surrounding counties to get that item they can’t find anywhere else.

“This is the only thing we do,” said Walraven, who owns and runs the business with his brother Colby Walraven and Andy Morris. “We stock about a 1,000 different items, and we have access to 10,000 more items.”

In addition to selling everything from cell phone and laptop batteries to car, boat and motorcycle batteries, the business also services and repairs that can’t be replaced. Walraven said his store is a one-stop shop, and he and his brother strive to be knowledgable about what best meets the need of their customers.
