Quality care and patient satisfaction are hallmarks of Dr. Sean Ategechi’s dental practice at 313 Redmond Road.

“In this office we enjoy the variety in dentistry which is extractions, dentures, partials, cosmetics,” Ategechi said.

“We give the patient control over their procedure so the patient doesn’t have to be worried and scared about having a procedure done,” Ategechi said. “We take our time, listening to what our patients needs are and what they’re asking us to do. We try to provide the most precise and best dental treatment for them.”

Ategechi and his staff treat each patient individually and take the time to sit down and discuss all of their options, showing them examples whether it is bridges, or crowns or some other form of treatment. “We use the best laboratories possible, I test all my procedures, prosthodontics, crowns, bridges before they do go in.

Ategechi graduated from the Tufts College of Dentistry in Boston, Massachusetts ten years ago.

He came to Rome from the Atlanta area in 2010. “I really enjoy the clean air and the great sense of community that this town has,” said Ategechi. His practice, which includes eight employees, serves both adults and children.

Dr. Sean, as he is called, is very proud of the fact that he’s received comments from patients about their procedure being virtually pain free. “There are newer numbing agents that we use here that definitely get the patients numb,” Dr. Ategechi said. “Our office policy is that if you feel any pain, at any time, you just have to raise the left hand and we stop and get you number.”

The office is open Monday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The office is closed from 12:20 until 1:30 daily for lunch.
