Notice is hereby given that the George West City Council, at a Regular Session City Council Meeting on August 19, 2013, passed the following Ordinances:
*Final Reading of Amended Planning & Zoning Ordinance No. 777, Amendment No. 161, Request by Daniel Castillo to place a HUD-Code Manufactured Home on George West Block 49, Lot 7, 0.172 acres (commonly known as 300 Leona Street) in accordance with Ordinance No. 723-A.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GEORGE WEST AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 723 BY REVOKING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 723 AND THE ADOPTION OF A NEW SECTION 3 WHICH WILL ALLOW FOR THE PLACEMENT OF HUD CODE MANUFACTURED HOMES AND RECREATIONAL VEHICLES OUTSIDE HUD CODE MANUFACUTRED HOME PARKS AND SUBDIVISIONS OR RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARKS WITHIN CITY LIMITS IN CASES OF SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES, AND PROVIDING FOR PERMITS THERETO, PROCEDURES, FEES; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS AND SEPARABILITY CLAUSE, REPEAL OF CONFLICTS, PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF ORDINANCE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Violation of any provision of this Ordinance shall constitute a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed the maximum permitted by applicable law. Each violation of a separate provision and each day that a violation continues shall be a separate offense. Conviction of an offense under this Ordinance shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed the maximum established by law for each violation. The court shall order abatement and removal of a nuisance upon conviction.
