CUSTODIANS; CAFETERIA WORKERS; BUS DRIVERS AND MONITORS NEEDED

Goliad ISD is hiring Full-time, Part-time and Substitute Custodians; Substitute Cafeteria Workers; and Regular and Substitute Bus Drivers and Monitors. Benefits for full-time and part-time employees with four or more hours include personal and sick leave, and group health insurance with additional insurance options; custodians also get two-weeks of vacation.
Work year for Custodians is 260 day s with day and early evening hours only. Applicants must be able to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures; have knowledge of minor repair techniques and building and grounds maintenance; ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment; and ability to properly handle cleaning supplies.
The work year for Cafeteria Workers is 184 days; subs will be called as needed. Applicants must be able to understand food preparation and safety instructions; have working knowledge of kitchen equipment and food production procedures; be able to operate large and small kitchen equipment and tools and be able to perform basic arithmetic operations.
Drivers’ and Monitors’ work year is 180 days and can drive or monitor morning and/or afternoon routes; subs will be called as needed. Drivers must have a valid Texas Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) with “S” and “P” Endorsement; pass drug test and physical exam. Monitors ride buses and help driver ensure safe and orderly transportation of students with disabilities.
