Operating Permit
Under Section 36.404 of the Texas Water Code, the Refugio Groundwater Conservation District Board of Directors does hereby give notice of a public hearing to be held on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 6 p.m. at the Refugio County Courthouse Commissioner’s Courtroom, 808 Commerce Street in Refugio, Texas. The purpose of this hearing is to hear public comment on the application for a water well operating permit for a well to be operated by Austwell Aqua Farm, Inc., Charles and Pat Chan, owners, 293 FM 2040, Tivoli, Texas, on 265.126 contiguous acres in Refugio County. The proposed permit is for Irrigation at 132.555 acre-feet per year. This application is for a period of 5 years.
