PUBLIC NOTICE The City of Beeville will hold a public hearing during the regular City Council meeting beginning at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at the Beeville City Hall, 400 N. Washington St., in regard to the submission of an application for Texas Community Development Block Grant Program — Texas Capital Fund grant funds to the Texas Department of Agriculture. The purpose of this meeting is to allow citizens an opportunity to discuss the citizen participation plan, the development of local housing and community development needs, the types and amounts of funding available, all eligible activities and the use of past TxCDBGP funds. The City encourages citizens to participate in the development of its TxCDBGP applications and to make their views known at this public hearing. Citizens unable to attend this meeting may submit their views and proposals to Mayor Jimmy Martinez, City of Beeville, by mailing them to the Mayor’s attention at 400 N. Washington St., Beeville, TX 78102. Individuals who require auxiliary aids and persons with disabilities who wish to attend this hearing should contact City Secretary Tomas Saenz at least 72 hours prior to the hearing by calling (361) 358-4641.
