Family members joined the students in the celebration. Each student received a certificate and "Rise Above" t-shirt for being an outstanding student at KMS. Roger E. Sides Elementary hosted a Literacy Family Fun Night on Thursday, Feb. 21. Students in grades pk-3rd received a free book from the LEAP grant book distribution project. Students in grades 4 and 5 received a free book courtesy of Perales Manufacturing-PMI Oil Tools and the Karnes County Civil Detention Center.
