South Texas Christian Center invites everyone to spend an evening with Alexander Wright.

Alexander Wright is a former NFL wide receiver, two-time winner of the NFL's "Fastest Man" competition.

He was drafted as a wide receiver by the Dallas Cowboys in 1990. He was traded to the Los Angeles Raiders (now the Oakland Raiders) and finished his NFL career with St. Louis Rams.

But during his NFL career the past came back to haunt him and everything started going downhill for Wright. His mother became a Christian and asked a pastor to contact her son. After talking with Pastor Kenneth Mack, Alexander knew he wanted to become a Christian, wanted to believe that Christ had died for his sins, wanted God to change his life and wanted to be baptized. Today he is happily married with four children. He is a coach at Cornerstone Christian School and President and CEO for Alexander Wright Ministries based in Amarillo.

This special event will be on Wednesday April 17 at the Kenedy Civic Center which is part of City Hall and is located at 303 W. Main Street in Kenedy. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and we will begin at 7 p.m. For more info refer to
