BEEVILLE — City Manager Deborah Ballí and Main Street Manager Michelle Wright are asking businesses and residents to spruce up their properties before March 23.

That day, video crews from the television program Communities of Distinction will be in town to record activities in Beeville for their series.

Ballí said much of the footage will be shot at the Texas Mile event at the Chase Field Industrial and Airport Complex.

But video crews will also be in town taking videos of homes and businesses, especially in downtown, and interviewing some residents.

The program will be featured on various news programs and will be hosted by retired NFL quarterback Terry Bradshaw.

Ballí said she does not expect Bradshaw to be in town with the camera crews.
