The public is invited to the Bee County Historical Society meeting Monday, March 18, at 5:30 p.m. at the McClanahan House, 206 E. Corpus Christi in Beeville. The committee will be working on plans for the Living History Celebration to be held April 6. They are looking to add more story tellers, events, vendors, music, exhibits and all things historical to the celebration. The group would specially would like for the folks from the communities from all ends of the county to get involved. There is so much history from the areas of Skidmore-Tynan, Papalote, Pawnee, Pettus and Charco. They need to share all the special history from each community. Lots of talent out there; please come share.

The group can use lots of input and, of course, can use physical help, especially the day of the celebration. If you can not make the meeting, but would like more information or would like to volunteer, please get in touch Shirley O'Neil
