This award recognizes a member of management in the field that has, over the past year, demonstrated outstanding leadership in addressing safety/security issues. In addition to the enhanced safety and security of their venue, the recipient’s contributions have set an example for others to follow. The award is selected by each professional league and the NCAA and presented annually by a league official at the National Sports Safety and Security Conference & Exhibition.
Dollase established all security protocols for the venue, which opened in 2011, and supervised the installation and implementation of the venue’s CCTV system, which provides constant monitoring of the facility that was recently nominated for Sports Business Journal’s facility of the year.
Dollase developed and operates effective security protocols for high level VIPs and the security around them. In addition to these specific achievements, he is responsible for day-to-day security team management and is involved in all decisions made involving a security risk at the stadium.
Dollase is formerly of Beeville, where he served as a reserve police officer.
