Pettus Eagle Hunter Tomlin signs to play football with the McMurry University Warhawks in Abilene on Tuesday morning. “The program, the great facilities and the academics were big factors in my deciding to go,” Tomlin said. The Warhawks have him penciled in at safety and at spot receiver, according to Tomlin. While at Pettus, Tomlin participated in every sport and excelled at them all. “Hunter definitely deserves to continue at the next level. He is the hardest working athlete we’ve had here in the past 10 years,” said Eagle Athletic Director Steve Marbach. Joining Tomlin at the signing were his parents, Robbie and Traci Tomlin.
