Erbin Clay “Butch” Pace, 68, of Beeville, died Thursday, June 21, 2012, in Corpus Christi.

Mr. Pace was born Sept. 30, 1943, in Kenedy, to Ernest Leroy Pace and Zona Louise Walters Pace. He married Phyllis Ann Robinson on May 14, 1965, in Corpus Christi and worked as a drilling foreman and consultant in the oil field industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Michael Shawn Pace.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis A. Pace of Beeville; two daughters, Shelly Dawn (John) Colquhoun of San Antonio and Shealynn Pace of Beeville; six grandchildren, Lyndsi Pace, Cameron Pace, Randi Pace, Paige Colquhoun, Mackenzie Colquhoun and Abigail Pittman.

Visitation was held Sunday, June 24, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel.

The funeral service was held there Monday morning, June 25, at 10:30. Interment followed at Mineral Cemetery.
