Upon graduating from medical school, Dr. Franzen will undertake a one-year internship in general surgery at the Methodist Hospital located in the Medical Center in Houston. Afterward, he will commence a three-year residency in anesthesiology at Memorial Hermann Hospital, also located at the Medical Center in Houston.
Dr. Franzen is the son of Dr. Yolanda Ramirez Franzen and Jerry G. Franzen of Houston and the grandson of Mrs. Lee Ramirez Sr. of Beeville and the late Lee Ramirez Sr.
