Students from South Texas Children’s Home Ministries (STCHM) near Pettus enjoyed a day of target shooting and hunting at the Anthony Arrowhead (AA) Ranch recently. Shown on the front row, from left: AA ranch manager James Leeton; STCHM students Jasmine, Ana, Catherine and Ariel; game wardens Bryan Dullock, Zapata County, and Ryan Johnson, LaSalle County; student Josh; back row: game wardens Buck Burchette, Webb County; Noe Gonzales, McMullen County; Patrick True, Duvall County; and student Gabe.
“The hunt is guided by game wardens from five different counties and is coordinated by Game Warden Noe Gonzales of Tilden,” STCHM Student Ministries Director Becky Moore said. “It was a great day for students to get to partner with the game wardens to target shoot and hunt. We are so grateful to Mr. Gonzales, Mr. Leeton and the Anthony Arrowhead Ranch for how they reach out to our students year after year.”
