A young visitor to the annual Indian Summer Festival gets a chance to experience Helena the way many people did in the 1800s – on horseback. Many visitors enjoyed historical displays, petting zoo, entertainment, food and crafts at the Karnes County Museum Complex in Helena and also were able to tour the historical Ruckman House near the site of Karnes County’s original courthouse.
