JV Lady Horns still undefeated in 31-2A

The George West JV Lady Horns beat Dilley and Three Rivers to remain undefeated in District 31-2A.

The Dilley match was 25-7 and 25-10, the ladies played an awesome match with Miranda Weed, Caysi Holt and Kaylee Brysch having a dig each. Alexa Wheeler had an assist and Brysch had four assist. The ladies had nine kills from Weed one, Tiffany Garza one, Kaitie Ruiz two, Sydney Williamson one, Holt two and Brysch with two. George West’s aces came from Jessica Litchenberger two, Ruiz two and Brysch with four.

The ladies traveled to Three Rivers last week and kept their winning streak going to 6-0 for district play. The first set was 25-22, George West had the first serve and Brysch led off with three aces, followed by Holt with an ace, Wheeler added another, Cansino had three and Williamson added one. The second set was 25-16 and aces came from Ruiz with three, Cansino had one and Brysch added two. The other stats were Garza with two assist and Brysch with two and Wheeler had one. Brysch led the kills with five, followed by Weed, Holt and Ruiz with three and Williamson added two. Ruiz and Brysch assisted each other in a block. The Lady Horns dug well in both sets and continue their winning streak through District 31-2A.
