Mineral, Texas - Jose “Joe Pepsi” Villarreal, 78, passed away on November 24, 2012. He was born on August 12, 1934, in Duval County to Cristino and Maria “Reyes” (Guerrero) Villarreal. He was a catholic and was a distributor for Pepsi Cola Company.

He is survived by his wife, LaMar Aguilar of Mineral; his children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of friends.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville, Texas. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 ,at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Interment followed at Mineral Cemetery in Mineral, Texas.

Pallbearers were Joe Villarreal, Jr., Roy Solis, Raymond Christino Lopez, Joseph Rene Romero, Rodolfo Romero, Jr. and Richard Gonzales Perez.

The family gathered after the service at The Pettus Community Center on Main Street in Pettus, Texas. Friends and family were invited for fellowship and refreshments.
