Joseph Patrick Williams, 52, of Refugio, died Monday, Jan. 18, 2010. He was a valve technician for Scott Electric Co.

He was born Oct. 31, 1957, to Jesse and Mary Kircher Williams.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Vally and Katherine Kircher; paternal grandparents, John and Annie Williams; one brother, James Williams; and one uncle, the Rev. E.H. Kircher.

Survivors include his parents of Refugio; two sisters, Katherine Mayfield of Aransas Pass and Theresa Smith of Refugio; and four brothers, David Williams of Burleson, Michael Williams of Ashburn, Va., Daniel Williams of League City and John Williams of Victoria.

A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Moore Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 21, at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery

Pallbearers are David Williams, Michael Williams, Daniel Williams, John Williams, Bill Mayfield and Joe Smith.
