William Bates III won the first round of the 10-week karaoke challenge held at the Dog & Bee Pub on Wednesday, March 13. A winner will be crowned every Wednesday until Saturday, May 18, when all the winners will compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes. There is a $5 entry fee and practice begins at 7 p.m. with the competition starting at 8 p.m. every Wednesday.
