There will be a meeting of the Karnes County Historical Society at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21. The meeting will be held at 216 West Main, (formerly The Little Red School House) in Kenedy.

There will not be a special meeting of the Flaccus group but status of the project will be on the regular agenda. Everyone interested in sharing and preserving the unique and interesting history of Karnes County can join our organization by sending a check to the Karnes County Historical Society at P.O. Box 162, Karnes City, Texas 78118. Student membership is $10 a year; individual membership, $20; family, $30; and business $50. Donations are also welcome. You can join and/or make a donation by mailing a check to the address above or you can do so on-line on our new website: www.karnesmuseum.com.
