After a hope-filled pre-district start, the Lady Badger Volleyball team settled for 4th place in a tougher new district and ended their season Oct. 23.
“Basically, we gave it all we had,” senior libero Jonie Reyes said. “We did everything we could. We practiced hard every time. I guess it just didn’t turn out the way we wanted it to.”
The girls could not overcome the height and power of Poth, Hallettsville and Schulenburg, who moved on into the playoffs last week.
