The Lady Horns were again supported by their highly-spirited home crowd as they defeated Taft in a three game sweep, 25-11, 25-19, and 25-21.
The leading hitter for the Lady Horns was Kelsi Bartlett, delivering 18 kills. Marley Snider put away 12 kills.
Adding to the excitement was Kaylee Brysch with seven kills and Caroline Bellows with three kills.
Snider had five aces and with one ace each was Mary Cansino, Bartlett, Raye Bednorz and Bethany Brysch.
Cansino had 38 assists.
Blocking for the Lady Horns was Cansino with five, Snider had three, K. Brysch and Bartlett had two. Caysi Holt added one block.
Leading in the back was Bellows having 11 digs. Following closely was Snider and Cansino with ten digs each. Bartlett and right with them was K. Brysch each had nine digs. Bednorz added six digs. Holt had two digs.
Earlier in the week on Tuesday, Oct. 16, the Lady Horns had claimed another victory against Mathis in their drive for the District 31 2A Title. The Ladies had another three game sweep of 25-16, 25-12 and 25-12.
