Live Oak County teams compete at District 4-H Dairy Judging Contest

Live Oak County had four teams participate in the District 12 4-H Dairy Judging Contest on Tuesday, April 3, two Senior teams, one Intermediate team and one Junior team.

The Senior team which consisted of Tara Liska, Shelby James and Victoria Culpepper won first place at District, and the second place Senior team consisted of Jeremiah Ferrell, Jacy Johnson and Allison Bryce.

The Intermediate team which won first in District and was Taylor Thompson, Lane McClelland and Nathan Culpepper.

The Junior team, which also won first place, was Parker Lee, Kory Humphrey and Kary Humphrey.

High Point Individual for first place Senior team was Victoria Culpepper; first place HPI for the second place Senior team was Jeremiah Ferrell.

High Point Individual for the Intermediate team was Taylor Thompson, and for the Junior team, HPI was Kory Humphrey. Both Senior teams advanced on to State which was held in Stephenville on April 19.

The Intermediate team will participate in the Invitational Contest also held at Stephenville. Congratulations to all Dairy Judging participants.
