A Loma Alta Cemetery meeting was held Nov. 26, 2012 at Our Lady Queen of Peace CCD hall to form a new association and elect Board of Directors.

Newly elected Board of Directors are Stormy Rosset: President; Nacho Casarez: Vice President; Gus De la Garza: Secretary; Nando Salinas: Treasure; Gilbert Puente: Sgt. of Arms. Other association members present were Jerry Gonzales, Mary Gonzales, Gloria Puente and Rudy Casarez, Jr.

It was discussed and agreed to hold fund raisers to help maintain and improve the cemetery, especially the road throughout the cemetery.

There will be a very important meeting Friday, Feb. 15 at Our Lady Queen of Peace CCD hall at 6:30 p.m. We need people that are concerned about the cemetery to attend this meeting. There are several important issues to discuss, so we ask that you please attend this very important meeting.
