The Otto Kaiser Memorial Hospital Auxiliary held its’ monthly business meeting Thursday, June 6 with 15 members present. President Emma Villanueva called the meeting to order at 10 a.m. in the Barth’s Restaurant party room. Monthly reports were presented by officers as well as standing and appointed committee members.

The business agenda was kept minimal and focus directed on honoring our guests - the hospital board members. Board members in attendance were Richard Robinson and Mary Szalwinski. Hospital CEO David Lee was also in attendance and introduced his wife, Ashley, to the group. We are greatly indebted to these folks for their continuous support and leadership throughout the years.

Business items of note include approval of purchase of equipment for the Nursing Department, bladder scanner at approximately $7,000. Members also agreed to conduct a Gift Shop clearance sale during the month of July, discounting items by 25%. Stay tuned for more detailed information on this sale as the time nears.

Our next business meeting will be held Thursday, July 11 at 9:30 am in the Hospital Board Room.
