Mr. La Cour was born April 25, 1936, in Woodsboro to Loyd B. and Mary Elizabeth (Stockton) La Cour. He married Mary Ellen Ince and was a newspaper carrier for the Corpus Christi Caller Times. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a daughter, Vera La Cour.
Survivors include a brother, Walter E. “Cookie” (Kathleen) La Cour of Bishop; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held.
