Pecans are again on sale at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office for the 4-H Pecan Fundraiser for 2012, in session until Tuesday, Oct. 16. Pecans, peanuts and trail mix will be for sale.

Orders may be placed with a 4-H member or by coming by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office. For sale will be:

One-pound pecan halves or pieces for $10; 3-pound box of halves or pieces for $30; 5-pound box of halves or pieces for $50; and a 3-pound bag of raw shelled peanuts for $12;

New to the 2012 fundraiser is:

12-ounce bag of chocolate covered peanuts for $8;

One-pound bag of Fiesta Mix is $5 (Fiesta Mix is Barbecue Corn Sticks, Taco Sesame Sticks, Nacho Cheese and Hot & Spicy Peanuts, Roasted & Salted.);

One-pound bag of Trash Mix is $5 (Trash Mix is Sesame Sticks, Cocktail Peanuts, Pretzels, Hot & Spicy Peanuts, Peanut Oil & Salt.);

12-ounce bag of Sugar Free Chocolate Pecans for $8;

12-ounce bag of White Chocolate Pecans for $8;

12-ounce bag of Praline Pecans for $8;

12-ounce bag of Cinnamon Pecans for $8;

One-pound container Pecan Sampler includes 1/3 pound of Milk Chocolate pecans, White Chocolate Pecans, Cinnamon Frosted Pecans and Praline Frosted Pecans for $15;

Two-pound container Pecan Sampler includes 1/3 pound of Milk Chocolate pecans, White Chocolate Pecans, Cinnamon Frosted Pecans, Praline Frosted Pecans, Amarettto Frosted Pecans and Pina Colada Frosted Pecans for $25.

The pecans will be delivered to the Extension Office before Thanksgiving.
