Due to the recent drought, there were a significant amount of grass fires near Pioneer operated facilities, not only in Bee and Live Oak counties but also in Dewitt and Lavaca counties.

Pioneer Natural Resources recognized the immediate response and the outstanding job that all the volunteer fire fighters performed during those emergencies.

Recognizing the important role each volunteer fire department plays in protecting everyone’s property and lives, Pioneer solicited the needs of each fire department along its core properties and issued a monetary donation so that their needs could be accomplished.

Pioneer Natural Resources hopes to continue supporting each volunteer fire department in the future.
