CORPUS CHRISTI – If you like softball, you have an opportunity next week to see some of the best in the world compete at the Coastal Classic.

Whataburger Field will be the locale for four exhibition games between the Akron Racers and the USSSA Pride. In addition to those pro games, Whataburger Field will host a select team regional and state fastpitch tournament. Games begin June 13 with the finals on June 16.

Local softball player Saleen Flores will be alongside her pitching coach Sarah Pauly and the USSSA Pride as their bat girls on Thursday night when the Pride battle the Akron Racers.
