On Thursday, the USPS is conducting meetings with the same local patrons to discuss the findings of the survey.
The schedule:
Skidmore, Skidmore Community Center, noon; Tuleta, Tuleta Community Center, 12:30 p.m.; Tynan, Tynan Recreational Hall, 2 p.m.; Pawnee, Pawnee Fire Department, 5 p.m.
The USPS says those post offices affected will remain open but under four different conditions.
• Keep the office open based on actual office workload.
• Conduct a discontinuance study and offer roadside mailbox delivery.
• Conduct a discontinuance study for the office and find a suitable alternative location operated by a contractor.
• Conduct a discontinuance study for the post office and provide a post office box service.
