Mrs. Douthitt was born May 3, 1950, in Beeville to Leo and Manuela Gonzales Moreno. She had worked as an accountant for Wal-Mart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Juan Ramiro Moreno; and a niece, Renee Feltes.
Survivors include three sisters, Rosa (Ruben) Garcia of College Station, Rachel Gallo of Port Lavaca and Reyes Andrade of Boston, Mass.; a brother, Ramon (Lily) Moreno of Beeville; a brother-in-law, Norbert Feltes of Port Lavaca; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Saturday, March 10, at 2 p.m. at the Primera Baptist Church, with Rev. Marcello Garcia officiating.
