Jamie Curtis of SPA Skateparks, center, was in town Friday for the noon ground breaking ceremony for the city’s $200,000 skate park at Flournoy Park. Those on hand for the event were, from left, city manager consultant John Valls, Interim City Manager Deborah Ballí, Police Chief Joe Treviño, Curtis, Republic Services Municipal Marketing Manager Mike Reeves, City Councilwoman Libby Spires and Chris Majors of AG/CM Inc.
