Believers have a gift from God called eternal life. On All Saints Sunday we remember and celebrate that we are bound with the saints of every age. Those saints like Mark, Mary, John the Baptist are known by all Christians but our grandparents, people who planted or founded our congregations, our Sunday School teachers, and other Christians we hold dear in our hearts are also tied with us and we are entangled with those who will lead and those who will be the church in the future. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, we are tied together by Christ, and we are tied to Christ. When death comes for each of us, Jesus Christ unties us from this earthly life and releases us to eternal life with him. Like Lazarus, we are raised. We are eternally bound and tied together in Christ, tied to the past, tied to the future.

Sunday worship services at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Runge begin at 8:30 a.m. with Pastor Randal Bruno serving as minister. All are welcome to worship services.

The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you. The Lord look upon you with favor and give you peace. Amen.
