Our FFA students work hard all year long and have made a name for themselves as an exceptional chapter.
Our students continue to compete in a wide array of contest to help develop their skills. Chapter Conducting, Livestock Judging, Shop projects, Area and District officers, Meat Judging, Farm Skills, Rodeo, Creed Speaking and Radio are just a few of the contest that these students participate and excel in.
Several of our students have even competed on the State level this year. Like many other organizations the FFA needs time and financial support from parents, businesses and members of our community that believe in this organization and want to continue to see it equip our youth to be successful.
The FFA banquet is a perfect opportunity for these students to be recognized for their hard work and achievements. We welcome all parents and supporters to attend this banquet. We do have needs; if you are interested in helping in any way, please let us know.
A couple of things we could use help on are providing the meal or items for the meal and sponsors for the awards given to the kids. We would also like to start giving more scholarships to the seniors who have excelled in their FFA career.
If you would like to give a memorial scholarship in honor of someone that FFA or Agriculture was very special to we would be honored to include that in the presentation.
If you would like to attend and/or help in anyway, please contact Steve or Barbie Mosley at 361-688-9902 or 361-688-3552 or email at mosley.steve@satx.sysco.com or barbieleephoto@yahoo.com. Thank you for your continued support.
