All tied at 28-28 at the end of regulation, the visiting Kingsville Brahmas and the Beeville Trojans had to go into overtime to decide a winner on Friday night.

The Trojans had the first offensive possession and stalled but were able to get a 36-yard field goal by Marcos Ulloa to sail through the uprights for s 31-28 lead.

Kiingsville then got their chance on offense but three penalties pushed them back to the 40-yard line for a third and 25 call. A short gain on a run brought the game down to one last play. The Brahmas had to either score a touchdown or gain a first down by getting past the Trojan 15-yard line. QB John Houston and his coaches went for the score. A "Hail-Mary" throw into the end zone was knocked down and the Trojans secured the 31-28 victory.
