Pictures from the third annual Tuleta Days celebration.

First photo – Co-chaimen Cheryl Heil, at left, and Willa Mae Chandler hold the quilt which will be on display at the third annual Tuleta Day celebration. The quilt has 56 squares, each one made by a different Tuleta family, the ladies said. Included in the day's activities, which were sponsored by the Tuleta Community Improvement Program, were a formal program, barbecue, games, visiting and the like.

Second photo – Bill Cranford, Central Power and Light Company agriculture representative, presents the Texas Community Improvement Program award during the celebration.

Third photo – The Tuleta Days celebration Saturday attracted a sizable crowd, which gathered there at 10 a.m. to hear speaker Bill Cranford (at podium) present the Texas Community Improvement Program award. Cranford noted that the work being done by the community leaders is building the foundation for future residents of Tuleta to continue the work.

Fourth photo – a busload of attendees arrives for Tuleta Days.
