Mrs. Ramos, the sixth child of 10, was born Oct. 16, 1918, to Espiridion and Zenobia (Garcia) Gomez in Alice. She was raised in the Olmos Community before moving to Austin with her husband, Roberto Ramos.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Ramos; and a daughter, Olga Gonzales.
Survivors include her sister, Trinidad (Gomez) Ramirez of Skidmore; 10 children, Lupe Ramos, Alicia Mata, Cecilia Moisant, Yolanda Ramos, Irene Sifuentez, Roberta Morales, Mario Ramos, Alvaro Ramos, Victoria Martinez and Robert Ramos Jr.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home in Austin. A rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o’clock.
The funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Pflugerville. Interment followed at Cook Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, Derek Moisant, George Diaz, Gregory Sifuentez, Mario (M.R.) Ramos, Alvaro (Avi) Ramos, Adrian Martinez and Robert Aleman Ramos.
Services were entrusted to Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, Austin.
