I am writing to publicly acknowledge three fine ladies from your area. They are A&M students: D’Anne Wilder, Samantha Minter and Brittany Garza.
They volunteered to help with the “Big Event,” a group that does charitable work for the elderly and disabled.
I’m sure you have heard about it, but I must, from my heart, say thank you to them for painting my little porch and mostly for being so cheerful, helpful, well-mannered and absolutely wonderful young ladies.
I am 81 years old and have lived a blessed life and do appreciate these and all young people who do so much. Our country is blessed to have these citizens. We older people can learn a lot from them.
I watch our young people and have faith that our country’s future is in good hands.
May God bless every young person and may He bless the families, the teachers and the churches who have guided these dear young people to be the people they are.
Again, thank you.
