0000 – Arrived at HQ. Put on coffee and set plate of donuts for shift change meeting.
0215 – Received call from 1234 Alleycat Lane about burglary in progress. Two squad cars sent in response, but suspect eluded arrest. Video footage of the burglar was obtained.
0850 – Received call from the area near Angora and Cheshire. Apparently a small gathering occurred in the fields. Suspects were advised to wrap up their activities and the assembly broke up peaceably.
0945 – After complaints of a suspicious odor at an unnamed night club, an arrest was made for possession of marijuana. The suspect was released on a personal recognizance bond when he stated, “I just found out that Romney is visiting Texas”.
1200 – Shift change.
