Bee County Living History Celebration

Saturday, March 22, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Join us at the McClanahan House and surrounding area:

  • Historical Storytellers bring the early days of Beeville to life
  • View a wonderful pictorial exhibit of days gone by
  • Learn about the many cultures of people who have settled in Bee County
  • Exhibits and Demonstrations of education in the past will intrigue children of all ages
  • Enjoy Native American singing, drumming, dancing & storytelling
  • Marvel at the beauty of the Ballet Folkloric of Beeville
Raffle Tickets will be available for $1 or 6 tickets for $5 (Proceeds benefit the Historic McClanahan House)

  • 1st Prize: 1/2 day cruise for up to six people with Aransas Bay Birding Charters (donated by Captain Kevin Sims, owner/operator, Lamar, TX)
  • 2nd Prize: $100 gift card for Shorty's The Lodge Steak House
  • 3rd Prize: Rustic Oil Painting by Duane Webb
