Had to take a couple of hours off yesterday for a medical appointment so I was able to watch the "CNBC Townhall Meeting" with my Bammie as the star. What a disappointment. I think he even disappointed himself.
The statement he made, "The only reason I ran was my life was a testament to the American Dream," made me so sick I thought I might just head to the Emergency Room.
Obama had no plan, no answers and seemed to be setting us up for more spending on entitlement programs for that segment of society that the Dems hope will get off their rears and vote for them so they can stay in office. Reminds me of the Dems here in town who run around telling their uninformed constituients that if they don't vote for them, the mean Repubs will take their Lonestar Card away.
Now I did get the very real impression that entitlement programs that people have earned may well come under attack. Social Security, Medicare, Military Retirement and other earned, contributory programs appear to be on the Dems radar. Take from those who have worked and give it to those who refuse to work.
The hardworking middle class by reason of shear numbers will be tapped to pay for Bammie's mistakes and new vote buying entitlement programs. Obammie likes to single out the rich, hold them up as evil, and talk of taxing them to reduce the deficit. There just aren't enough rich people to do that. The great lie is he will hit the middle class because that is where the greatest amount of wealth resides.
I thought it quite funny as one of his obvious supporters seemed to sleep through most of his remarks. She was seen on camera off his shoulder and sitting next to the gentleman in the gold and red stripped tie. I wonder if she was one of his Economic Advisors?
Check the Bee Pics' Wednesday edition birth announcements and tell me how many new Moms and Dads have the same last name perhaps indicating they may be married at the time of birth of their child?
How many of those new babies do you think the hardworking taxpayers will be supporting for the next 18 to 20 years?
There is a limit to the number of these entitlement program babies the taxpayer can support. My opinion is we've already exceeded that limit.
I'd be real interested to hear what you think?
