President Barack Obama provided the opportunity of a lifetime this past weekend to Republicans. He was willing to make significant cuts to the social entitlement programs (Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid) that became sacred over the past few decades.
Why didn't the Republicans jump at the opportunity? Because they did not want to cut tax loopholes and subsidies for the wealthy and their corporate buddies!
Meanwhile in the sideshow, Weeper Boehner and Traitor Cantor are waging their own behind-the-scenes political battle to determine who actually controls the House of Representatives with Michele Bachmann and Ron Paul speaking out to whip up the crazies.
Does anyone have any doubt that Boehner is weeping?
