The 4-H Club members in Goliad County are taking orders for pecan pieces and halves, raw Spanish peanuts, trail mix, hunter’s mix, and trash mix as a fundraising project through Oct. 17.

Delivery is expected in mid-November before Thanksgiving. In addition to holiday baking, the products are packaged in bags and boxes which make great gifts for teachers, friends, and relatives.

Pecan pieces and halves are available in one-pound bags and three-pound boxes.

All three mixes are sold in three- pound boxes and the hunter’s mix is available in a one-pound bag. The peanuts are packaged in three pounds.

The trail mix consists of raisins, almonds, dates, walnuts, cashews, peanuts, and sunflower seeds.

The hunter’s mix, which is roasted and salted, consists of cashews, peanuts, sesame sticks, almonds, and pecan halves. The trash mix, which is also roasted and salted, is made up of sesame sticks, peanuts, pretzels, and hot and spicy peanuts.
