The Anne Kohler Outstanding Citizen Award was presented to Luis J. Rodriguez, right, by Mike Moore at the Goliad County Chamber of Commerce awards banquet Feb. 22 at the Goliad Memorial Auditorium.
Approximately 250 people attended the event at the Goliad Memorial Auditorium.
Other award winners Louise O’Connor (Anice Read Memorial Award), Ginger Cook and Ernest Alaniz (Water Conservation Awards), the Goliad Chapter of the Texas Historical Commission (Honored Organization Award), Cristy Billo (Chamber Director of the Year Award), Mike Moore (Outgoing Chamber President Award), Raymond Smithey (Senior Citizen Award), Allene Bethke (Employee of the Year Award), Dan and Deborah Gamblin (Animal Rescue Angel Award), Kai Buckert and Wexford Ranches (Agriculture Award), Kayla Brandes (Outstanding Youth in Agriculture Award), Brian Yanta (Volunteer of the Year Award), and Absolute Waste (Economic Development Ally Award).
