He was born in Helena on April 18, 1922 to Felipe Quintero and Jesusa Villegas Quintero.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juliana Juarez Quintero; son, Ramiro Quintero; sister, Esperanza Espinoza; and brothers, Ramiro and Jesse Quintero.
He is survived by his daughter, Belinda Giron of Goliad; sons, Noe Quintero of Houston, Omar Quintero of Gregory and Willie Quintero of Friendswood, sisters, Consuelo Valdez of Corpus Christi and Mary Helen Garcia of Karnes City; and brother, Felipe Quintero of Gillette.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 23 at Grace Funeral Home located at 214 N. Market St. in Goliad. A rosary will follow at 7 p.m. at Grace Chapel.
A funeral mass will be Thursday, April 24 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located at 238 Commercial St. in Goliad. Father Ralph Baidoo will officiate.
Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Goliad.
